THE SIGNS
THE STORY OF ANGEL NEWMAN
In 2017, Angel Newman attempted to commit suicide by overdosing on pills. Her parents, Jessica and Andrew Newman found her laying on the floor of her bedroom unconscious, with a bottle of pills, spilled, next to her hand. They called the ambulance immediately and Angel was taken to the hospital. The doctors eventually treated her, and Angel survived her suicide attempt. When she was finished recovering at the hospital, she was sent to a treatment center to better herself emotionally and mentally. The detective walks in with Angel's suicide note and gives it to her parents. Angel's parents begin to read the note and the film then takes the audience through the events leading up to Angel's suicide attempt.
